TT.RR.HH. the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess are delighted to announce the birth of their son at the Maternité Grande-Duchesse Charlotte in Luxembourg on Sunday May 10 2020 at 5:13. He will be called Charles Jean Philippe Joseph Marie Guillaume. The child weighs 3,190 kg and is 50 cm. H.R.H. the Crown Princess and her child are both doing well. Their Royal Highnesses look forward to introducing him to the people of Luxembourg.

TT.RR.HH. the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess expressed the wish to support projects for aid to children. Part of the donations collected will thus be allocated to projects for the benefit of children in the Grand Duchy. The rest of the donations collected help children in the most vulnerable countries, where famine has worsened since the coronavirus crisis began.
