40 young table tennis players (U13-U15) from all over the European Union and from China and Hong Kong participated in a training camp in Luxembourg from August 26 to September 3, 2018. This camp, organized in the framework of the China Table Tennis – Europe (CTTC-E) activities allowed the youngsters to train with top coaches from China under the leadership of four times Olympic Champion Zhang Yining.
The Luxembourg Minister of Sports, Romain Schneider, visited the scientific tests about visio-motoric reaction times of young table tennis players that are part of the academic program of the CTTC-E. This program, supported by the Ministries of Higher Education and of Sports, is run in collaboration with the Sports University in Cologne (Germany) and the LUNEX University (Luxembourg).
