The Luxembourg Institute of Research in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine and Science (LIROMS) as the academic partner of China Table Tennis- Europe (CTTC-E) published a research paper: The Speed of Neural Visual Motion Perception and Processing Determines the Visuomotor Reaction Time of Young Elite Table in the Frontiers in Behavioral Neuroscience journal.
Tennis Athletes had initiated this research project realized by the LUNEX. This study is the starting point of a series of upcoming “brain-related” projects with internationally renowned universities in Germany and Belgium, concerning brain dynamics in elderly as well as mental fatigue, all in table tennis.
Further projects will be planned after the construction of the national biomechanic laboratory for high-performance sports, which will include specific opportunities for table tennis testing. It would be a pleasure meeting you again in this specifically designed building.
