Luxembourg Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Economy, Etienne Schneider, visited China on the occasion of the first edition of the China International Import Exhibition, held in Shanghai from November 5th to 10th.
Minister Schneider participated to the Opening Ceremony of the CIIE, attended by President Xi Jinping along with 170 government representatives. Mr Schneider held a speech at the Exhibitor Businessman Supply-Demand Matchmaking Conference co-organised by Bank of China. He also took this opportunity to visit Cargolux’s pavilion at the CIIE, Luxembourg all cargo airline. The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, on a trade mission to China from November 5th to 9th visited CIIE accompanied by a delegation of 30 companies.
A few months prior to the fair, Minister Schneider called on Luxembourg companies to take the opportunity to “enter into business relations with our Chinese partners and for our Chinese partners to do business with Luxemburg companies”.
