The Chamber of Commerce led a trade mission to China from 4th to 8th November. This mission was led by the President of the Chamber of Commerce, former Minister of Finance, Mr Luc Frieden, and was organised in close collaboration with the Ministry of the Economy, The Consulate General of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg Trade and Investment Office (LTIO) – Shanghai, and with the support of the China-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (CHINALUX) in Luxembourg. The mission visited three cities: Zhengzhou, Shanghai and Nanjing and focused on the following sectors: Logistics & E-Commerce, Import and Export of Consumer Goods, as well as Innovation. In Shanghai, the delegation visited the China International Import Expo (CIIE), in the context of this visit, the Consulate General of Luxembourg in Shanghai and LTIO-Shanghai organised a workshop to give an update and evaluation on the Chinese market and further advise delegates on ‘How to do business with China’.
